The Wumblers preschool television series was created by Laura J. Wellington to answer the needs of parents seeking enriching, wholesome, and inspirational television entertainment devoted to ALL children. The series respects and answers the needs of parents while preparing preschoolers to embrace the global community we call "the world." And it does so all through play! "There was a tremendous outcry from parents for a series that helped them raise their children. The Wumblers does this while tossing in an added dash of spirited fun and devotion for good measure. " The Wumblers are a sweet-natured, whimsical collection of characters who live in a world enough like our own to make sense but different enough to be enthralling. The Wumblers are multi-colored, bulbous-shaped characters whose food falls from the sky, whose babies come from watermelons, and whose stories blend inspiration, imagination, and fun. Spiritually and globally conscious, The Wumblers devotes each and every episode to making the world a better place for ALL. Bertrum Dancing and Playing MusicThe particular timeliness and necessity for responsible adults to teach their children values that ensure a more peaceful and promising future for everyone is, unfortunately, obvious. The Wumblers helps to promote these values in an engaging and entertaining manner through a combination of brilliant storylines, original characters, and lighthearted play. Mr. Deliver and BertrumThat's where Bertrum, the young Wumbler, and Raimundo, a bi-lingual Latin American snail, and best pal, come in. Bertrum is just like the kids in the audience who will watch him, possessive of all those contrasting qualities his viewers are experiencing and sorting through as they make their epic journey from toddlerhood to kindergarten. Bertrum's HouseBertrum also has an array of Imaginary Best Friends who pop out of a mirror to both advise and tempt him with various crucial issues. He has an eccentric aunt who paints, sings, and provides him with continuous exposure to the realm of art and culture. And with two doting parents, one of whom runs the ice cream shop, he's one lucky Wumbler. Bertrum's FriendsRaimundo, meanwhile, is Bertrum's sidekick, conscience, mentor, and best bud. Okay, he's a snail. He has to hustle to keep up as the pair walk down the street. But he's an inexhaustible source of ideas, praise, caution, panic, calm, good judgment, and many other qualities guaranteed to make Bertrum's life more interesting, if not more excitable. And Raimundo often speaks in Spanish, which is just one of the ways in which this show embraces diversity and that happily defines our world today. By setting Bertrum and Raimundo loose in the imaginary, multi-colored world of The Wumblers, we join Wumblers hands with God in unifying the real multi-colored world one child at a time. "Our Business is the Welfare of Children!" Thank you for allowing me to entertain and inspire your children to embrace the Wumblerful new world in which we live. It is an honor and a privilege to be welcomed into your homes as well as your children's lives. Kindest Regards
